NEW LOOK, NEW FEEL- Sandy Weather website will have a slightly different look very shortly, all of the current information will still be available at the click of a button, but it sould be easier to view without information overload syndrome. If anyone has a suggestion for anything that they would like to see included on the Sandy Wx website then please contact me.

Photo Gallery - A general gallery as now been added to the site as well already weather specific ones. This will be added to regularly so I hope you enjoy. Please feel free to submit your own photos to the gallery.


Some parts of the Sandy Wx website is going through a bit of an overhaul presently. Some past data sets are not current, in particular the highs and lows. Live data on the front page is completely unaffected by these changes.
All recorded data by the station is being stored and will be available to view again very soon.

Lightning Detection is still being installed and detection software tested, I envisage this to be operational within the next 2 weeks, hopefully in time before any big storm activity.

Weather Satellite monitoring equipment will also be installed, this will allow Sandy Wx to display the latest satellite data transmitted direct from the NOAA satellites, which orbit earth.
Trials are under way for image processing and tweaks are being made. This should also be up and running within the next week.

Online shop - This will be fully open for business very soon. You will be able to buy weather stations, weather software and any product that is weather orientated. So watch this space.
